Quizbits has a dedicated TV app built specifically for Chromecast. When you cast, your TV becomes the "game board" showing:
While the TV shows the game to everyone, your phone (as the host) lets you:

Turn on your TV and switch to the Chromecast input. You should see the Chromecast home screen. Make sure it's connected to the same WiFi as your phone.
Go to quizbits.app/host using Chrome browser on your phone or laptop. Sign in if you haven't already.
Choose an existing quiz from your library, or let AI generate a new one on any topic. Once selected, you'll enter the waiting room.
Look for the Cast icon (rectangle with WiFi waves) in the Quizbits interface. Tap it to see available Chromecast devices.
The Cast button appears when a compatible device is detected on your network.
A list of nearby Chromecast devices will appear. Tap the one connected to your TV. The Quizbits game interface will appear on your TV within a few seconds.
Your TV will display a large QR code and room code. Players scan with their phone cameras to join instantly - no app needed!
Once everyone has joined, tap "Start Game" on your phone. Questions appear on the TV while everyone answers on their phones. Your phone controls the pace.
